T minus 24 hours and counting......

Thank the heavens this is my last day at work. I am so busy. I am trying to get everything taken care of before I leave for vacation!!! I am such a last minute kind of girl, but amazingly enough, I have been super organzied this time around. Maybe it's because I'm getting older and more responsible ((Sigh)). I even packed my suitcase a few days ago!!! I think that was only because I was excited to use my new space saver bags. I have a weeks worth of clothes and shoes packed in a carry on with a bunch of room to spare. The one downside is that everything will be a wrinkled disaster by the time I get there and packing so far in advance only assures that I will spend some serious time ironing tomorrow night (in my bathing suit rest assured lol.) Oh well, at least it will be a stress free stroll through the airport.

So I tried to pack The Boy's suitcase for him the other day.(seriously, I'm obsesses with my space saver bags.) He said that he would do it himself and not to worry. Okay then. Last night he decided he's gonna pack. He starts opening his dresser drawers taking a look and then closing them. Opening the closet looking around and then closing it. Back to the dresser. Finally I had to step in "are you alright?" His voice was panicked "I have no idea what to pack!" Laughing, I asked if he wanted me to take care of it. Of course he replied yes. This happens every single time we go away. It makes me laugh. If only he would let me do it when I ask the first time it would save me a lot of time. Of course I start packing and he points out that 3 of his favorite pairs of shorts are in the laundry. I did like a million loads of laundry this weekend....how the hell did these not make it in!? Men.

Today The Boy is on his way to the country to drop off Pup and I am wrapping up some loose ends around the office and should be good to go midway through the afternoon. Then I can run to the ATM and withdraw the last $150 in my checking account so I can have some dough. WTF happened to all my money?? No idea, but when I just checked my online banking, I almost cried. Horrible. Thank goodness the resort is all inclusive and once I get there I do not have to pay for anything!
