only 2:03pm!

I can't believe it's only 1:38 pm. This day is never ending and I only got to work at 10:30 am! I was late today because I had to go to the hospital and have all my pre-surgery testing done. I really must say that it definitely made me super nervous. Up until now it was this hypothetical surgery. Now that I have all my pre and post op instructions and all my prescriptions....pain meds, antibiotics and oddly enough something for arthritis) it is real and it is scaring me. ahhh.

Anyway, at least I have a fun weekend away to distract me. We are leaving super early Friday morning in an attempt to miss traffic. Who knows how that will turn out. I have my fingers crossed for dry weather because we will have the dog with us and I'd like to walk him around the city and not have to leave him cooped up in the hotel.

A random aside: My weirdo co worker has been disappearing every Wednesday at 1pm. Initially, she had been saying she was stepping out. Then I found that she had a recurring appointment in a tiny conference room on a different floor of the office that coincided with her disappearing act. Now she has begun to go as far as to walk tot he closet open it and bang it closed to give the illusion of taking her coat, but without taking the coat (only the back end of the closet is visible from this area of the office). It probably wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't for the fact that she is wildly sneaky and backstabbing while pretending to be super up front all the time. Me and another co worker caught on to the real her a while ago now and the shit she pulls just re affirms our suspicions. Anyway, another buddy of mine now sits right across the hall from said conference room and is keeping tabs on the secret comings and goings. I HAVE to know what is going on!! lol. At least I'm staying entertained.
