Grandpa

I'm exhausted. I've been spending all my time at the hospital. Last Thursday, my grandmother woke up in the middle of the night and found my grandpa on the floor. Apparently he was trying to walk to the bathroom and fell. She called an ambulance and he has been in the hospital ever since. Although is on IV and all that, he still looks terrible. If he was himself, he'd be throwing a fit. I mean this man has always refused to see a doctor. Not even a dentist! He gets a toothache, he grabs the pliers and pulls it out. Crazy right!? Never took a sick day in his entire life. We see that he is sick and deteriorating, but could do nothing to change his mind. Once he was admitted, he finally got tested for everything. As it turns out, he doesn't have Alzheimer's, he has cancer. Pancreas, liver, lung. I'm shocked. I mean, I knew he was sick and wouldn't make it much longer, but I am surprised to hear Cancer. My sister and I have heard it 4 times in the passed few years. Two on my mom's side two on my dad's, including both grandfathers. It scares the crap out of me.

If I have to sit with my mother and grandmother in the hospital another second, I may have to slap them both, but that's another post. Seriously two of the most selfish people I have ever seen in my whole life.

I don't really have to much to say right now. I just wanted to keep you guys posted.
