Dear God,

I am writing to you for a simple request. Please, please, please let this weekend go by very slowly. I'm in desperate need of a few days off and would appreciate it if you could do everything in your power (and let's face it EVERYTHING is in your power right?) to let me enjoy that time without it flying by so fast that I can't even really believe it has been a whole 2 days. I really, truly, hate that feeling.

I also think it's not such a big request considering all the requests you have been ignoring. Winning the lotto, getting engaged, winning the HGTV Dream Home all included in the ignored or denied category. In all fairness though, the HGTV Dream Home winner hasn't been announced yet, but given our track record together, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume I won't be the winner. I could really go on here about how I'm feeling a little neglected, but the rest of my life is going well so I don't want to come off like an ingrate. Plus, it seems like the only time I come visit in Church lately is for a funeral so You may have legit reasons for not paying much attention to me.

Either way, I beg of you to allow me to enjoy this weekend without it rushing by in an instant. I would really appreciate the time to recoup.
