I have about 3 hours left of my half day at work. Then I get to go home and start preparing for Thanksgiving!! It is, hands down, my favorite holiday. All the great food and festivness of Christmas without all the stress of presents and shit. As I may have already mentioned, The Boy and I celebrate 3 turkey days in a row. It starts with Thursday with my Grandma and family, then Friday with his father's family and Saturday with his mother's fam. I am fortunate in that his family could care less what day we celebrate so long as everyone is together. Needless to say, after 3 full out Thanksgivings, I am in sweatpants for a week!
I'm making cookies and stuffed artichokes for Friday's t-giving. I have to go home and bake up a storm. 4 different types of cookies today. I'll do the artichokes late tomorrow night. So much for a half day of work ;-)
