This coming Saturday is going to be one for the books. Why, you ask? Because this Saturday is the day that I MEET the New Kids on the Block! I am actually going to meet them!!! They are playing at Mohegan Sun and my sister and I are road tripping it up there with our crazy ass ticket packages to the pre show party with the boys as well as some meet and greet thing. We also get super seats in one of the front few rows!!!! I know I'm over doing it on the exclamation points, but I really am excited lol. With all the other shit going on, I really need this distraction.
Speaking of other shit, things have been looking way up. The Boy and I had a really good talk and seemed to find our common ground. We're currently working things out and I have to say, it has been very nice. Not very different from how we are normally, but I can see in his eyes that he feels much better. I can tell by the way he looks at me, that he is back. I feel good. I guess not we'll just have to see how it progresses from here. While I'm optimistic, I have to be real too, cause this shit is NOT happening again. Next time, if there is one, I'm out faster than he can finish his sentence.
Remember how I had been thinking about running off on a vacation? Well after much research, I finally booked a trip to Dublin over Christmas break AND The Boy and I are going together :-) We are both looking forward to the adventure. We travel well together and always have a blast. I'm very excited for us to have some alone time while exploring a new city. I think it will be really good for us. I'm also excited to see a new country! I welcome suggestions from anyone who has been to Dublin or Ireland in general. I bought a few travel guides (I know, I'm a dork) and am mapping out what I am interested in seeing. I am also debating renting a car for a day and just driving into the country or to Cork.

Happy to hear thing between you and the boy are looking up!
I've been to Dublin once, backpacking sort of trip, it is a beautiful city! I had the best time ever. Even though I went alone I met tones of people on the hostel I stayed at. We'd go out together every night, go for walks just out of Dublin or just cook something on the common kitchen and dinne together, it was awesome.
Search about Dun Laoghaire, the view there is amazing.
Too bad I don't have any pics to send you.
I'm sure you love it... If I could I'd go back with more time and more money!

Dublin sounds great, it is on my places to visit list. MMmmmm, cute Irish boys with brogues.
Hope you have a really great time and bundle up. I heard it gets really cold there during Christmastime.

I'm glad that you and the boy are doing better.. when you're arguing with your better half you just feel like your life is at a standstill and you can't move back or forward.. worst feeling!!
