La di da

I have to say, I'm totally jealous of everyone's new spring blog looks. I totally wish I were a little more tech savvy so I could put a new template up. Everytime I try, random things disappear, like my blog roll. Sometimes I get an error message that the code is wrong. I sure as hell don't know how to fix code lol. I guess I will just be sticking with the plain old bloger default look.

Anywho, not much has been going on in my neck of the woods and for that I am super grateful. The Boy has been super sweet and loving for a the passed few weeks and I am totally digging it. I too feel very good about our relationship and all the things we've come through in the last 6 months or so. I'm glad we got all the silly issues and fears out on the table so we could move forward.

With school starting in May, my mind has been consumed with thoughts of the future. Finally getting this under way really has me pumped! I feel like I finally see the pieces coming together. Fortunately, TB and I both finish our respective grad programs at about the same time. Then we can start job hunting in whatever city we choose to settle down in. In the meantime, we need to get visiting. We hope to get down to Charlotte sometime in May, but it will depend on my shoulder surgery. I have an appointment on Monday and will find out then when that will be :-(

I found a few home builders in the Charlotte area and have been daydreaming over their websites. lol. The homes are so gorgeous and ridiculously cheap compared to NY. The neighborhoods I've been attracted too are so quaint and clean and are exactly what I see when I picture my future kids riding their bikes and playing with friends. The other good thing about Charlotte is, although the cost of living is lower, the salaries are still pretty substantial. I mean, not New York big, but more than big enough to live worry free. We had expected them to be siginificantly lower, but were pleasantly surprised to learn otherwise. Any bloggers down there that could give pointers on good neighborhoods?

I realize this is probably the most boring post ever, and I apologize, but there is just not much going on here. Anyone have any idea what happened to Shelly (Peanut)?

You can see her blog? It looks like it's been erased on my computer.

Oh, NY will miss you. But we still got you for 2 years or so:)

I would LOVE to move out of NY but I am with a family man that will not survive without his family. Maybe when he retires....

I had those dreams too, about where I want to go and what type of house I see myself in. It will all be in the future anyway. I like 5 year plans...I guess?

I am glad you and the boy are good:)
