Has anyone seen Patick Swayze lately? The poor man looks awful. I feel terrible for him. Cancer in general is a bitch, but pancreatic cancer is the worst. I've had the opportunity of seeing it first hand twice now and it really is horrific. I also think I'm really particulary effected by his illness because he is and forever will be Johnny Castle, the wild dance instructor from Kellerman's. I mean seriously, hasn't almost every girl in my age group once fantasized about being Baby? Shit, I know I did. My cousin (who is my age) and I used to have our Grandmother give us "Who knows Patrick Swayze" quizzes after we ripped them out of our Teen Beat magazines. haha. I always won, btw. She will never know my man. lol. Oddly enough, I never found him attractive as an adult. I remember the first time I watched that movie as a teenager and all of a sudden all these crazy things were revealed. Like, Ohhh Penny had an abortion!? Who knew? As a kid it was always oh poor Penny and her belly ache haha.
In other news, I want to go to Costa Rica. I've moved on from obsessing about that Jamaican resort and am now fixated on a new one in Costa Rica. I may have travel ADD. lol.

You are a 100% right about Patrick Swayze. It is so weird that I didn't think he was hot as an adult. I feel bad for him but he will always be my Johnny, and it was really me who did the last dance of the season with;)

The scandalous part for us at the time was Johnny watching Baby change in the car on the way back from the Sheldrake. And then when they went to the lake to practice the lifts. Wet t-shirts anyone?
Total sidebar: I watch the anniversary edition with commentary and they said that throughout the entire movie Johnny wore black to symbolize his badassness while Baby was always in white to symbolize her virgin status
