Viva la Vida

This weekend turned out to be a lot better than it could have. Saturday, I hung out with my Mom. I'm not sure if you remember, but we don't have the best relationship. Well, we have a pretty good phone relationship, but in person we suck. I decided that maybe if we spent our time out doing something different, we may actually enjoy each other's company. TO this day, she has still only been to my apartment once...the day I moved in. That was almost a year ago. We live 10 minutes away from each other. Weird right? Any time I go to her house she acts crazy..."you dropped lint on the rug. Please don't sit like that on the couch. No drinking near the furniture." Needless to say, I usually get so aggravated I have to leave. Instead of trying that for the millionth time, I picked her up and we went to Trader Joe's. I had never been, but she has been ranting and raving about it. it was a pretty cool little store and I'm happy to report we both came out alive and with all our limbs in tact. I think if we do somethng like this once a month, it may be good for our relationship. Of course, it will always have to be on neutral ground, but that's okay...at least until gas prices go back up. Then she's on her own lol.

Sunday was spent doing the norm...cleaning, cooking, eating and football. To top it all off, I got to spend my evening with Coldplay (and the Boy, my sister, her man and abotu 25,000 other people.) The concert was awesome! They always sound so good, but always different fromt he CD and I LOVE that. We had great seats too...TB did well with this one. And yes, TB is still behaving normally. I am just about as fed up as I can possibly be, but am trying hard not to think about it for a few days.

Sorry for the boring post....I just felt like typing but really had nothing important to talk about. :-P
