So, in the recent past, I have found myself being more and more drawn to blogs. I enjoy reading them and, in a sense, getting to know new people. I find the various opinions and personalities very interesting. I also like the idea of a forum to vent and get advice without being judged....well at least most of the times. I have seen some mean comments.
Anyway, let me tell you a little about me....that's usually a good place to start. I was born and raised in New York City. I have recently moved to a suburb of the city, which I guess is one sign I am getting older :-) I live with my boy. We have been together a good number of years now and living together almost the entire time. Who knows if marriage is in our future.... you all know men! Besides, it can't possibly be much different than the life we've been living all these years. Can it? I also have an unhealthy obsession with pets. If it were up to me I would rescue every last animal that needs love. I'm not sure why I am so attached. I wasn't always. Yet nowadays I find that I can't even watch a movie where an animal gets hurt. SPOILER ALERT.....I mean I was heartbroken during that scene in I am Legend where the dog dies. I can't even watch those commercials with Sarah McLachlan and the ASPCA or those damn Iams commercials with the doggie in the cage.....I mean, seriously, that's strange right? Needless to say I have a bunch of pets. Currently, 2 cats and a pup. My Boy has put his foot down and said if I bring home anymore, he will pack his bags and leave haha. He is joking, but I do get his point. Besides, my building may just kick me to the curb lol.
I am in my late twenties and after some crazy teenage and early twenty years, I find myself finding solace in the easy going lifestyle I am now living. To be honest, I am a little worried that I am a bit too boring to have a blog, but I guess I will see how it goes lol. I'm not really sure where exactly I should go with this and would love any suggestions you all may have. I am open to any and all recommendations! Thanks for tuning in :-)
